Course Objectives • To explore and develop architectural design methodology applied to situations of various size, scale, and complexity • To prepare research based proposals for architectural design problems of various scales and functions in one of two focus areas (critical practices and urbanistic practices) and to integrate computational technology within their proposals
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • will be able to demonstrate understanding of the topics and mastery of skills addressed in previous design studios through the design of an architectural project
  • will be able to analyse the given context and design an individual architectural design project demonstrating the outcomes of the analysis
  • will be able to document and present an architectural design project which is the product of continual refinement and development.
  • will be able to gather and summarize data and information relevant to architectural projects using written and visual techniques.
  • will be able to apply computational technology to architectural design projects
Course Description In this course the students of architecture bring together all their architectural tools learned in the previous years onto coherent design work founded in the current theoretical discourse.
